Getting messy with cocoa!

On a dreary, rainy day we needed an afternoon pick-me-up and our favourite tweetkids beverage is hot cocoa. We put together a few spoonfuls of powdered cocoa, milk and sugar just in time for tea.

In our playtime books we learnt the names of some new animals – budgie (as in budgerigar, the small parrot), goldfish and hamster. Other animals were more familiar, such as cat, dog, mouse, and snake.
