Kaleidoscopica!

3rd year middle school pupils researched viewing devices and reflection symmetry from the 15th century Camera Oscura to iphones. Here you can see the results of our kaleidoscopes, first invented in the early 19th century.

Every pupil made a kaleidoscope by hand, and as you can see, seemingly small material choices can create very different effects.
