These ice lollies are sooooo cold they stick to our tongues!

Today’s freezing favours included raspberry, orange, mint and everybody’s favourite, lemon. Our ice lollies helped  cool us down on the first warm spring day of the year.

Apart from this fanciful teatime snack, we worked on some little “earth stories” with representations for the some of natural elements we live with: the sun, the moon, the stars, rain, rainbows, fire.

We even discovered the word mud!

We made little books with drawings to help us remember the new words, watched Peppa Pig episode 32 ‘Thunderstorm’, and jumped in imaginary muddy puddles!
