Today we played with fresh fruit and vegetables to make facefood! We talked about fruit and vegetables, our favourites, and the ones we turn our noses up at..we chatted about colours and shapes, and then started the chopping process.
The children were free to choose the ingredients and whether to chop or not! We added some mediterranean touches such as olives and dry pasta for special touches such as eyelashes and earrings. Here are some of the mouth watering results:
After playing with potatoes, tomatoes, cucumber, carrots, onions, kiwis, apples, pears, bananas, clementines, and a pineapple, we watched I Will Not Ever Never Eat a Tomato based on the book by Lauren Child and featuring Charlie and Lola.
